I went to the dentist this afternoon. One of the sealants on my back teeth is falling apart, so I have to go back and let them do all sorts of stuff to that tooth. There might even be a cavity hiding in there now! Hope not...I've never had a cavity before. It's probably not a big deal though, right?

The sun is setting right now, and it's bright pink. I swear! Here's a picture. I love sunsets! And having a digital camera. And the beach. (Just thought I'd throw that one in for good measure)

Oops! I lost track of time because my sweet, sweet Powerbook arrived this afternoon. I told myself I wouldn't spend a lot of time playing with it today because I have things to do, but I just can't help myself. I'm having problems getting online with the wireless card (MIT has like five different help pages with conflicting information). Frustrating, but I still love it :)

I got my Powerbook online with some help from MIT's RCCs. It's so awesome and pretty, and I can sit in my comfy Poang and play on my computer and look at the TV without turning around, like I had to at my desk. I swear, I was getting a sore neck from turning around to look at the TV so often! The process is much more streamlined now. Yeah, I have no life :)

I'm feeling restless. I've been coding for SP and watching movies all day. And it's rainy and gloomy outside. It's like the Cat In the Hat, right? The little kids get up to all sorts of trouble because they can't go outside and play. I never liked that story--the cat is so malicious, but he's still presented as a protagonist. Or maybe I'm just misinterpreting the story. Anyway, I'm not going to get up to any trouble. Just work more and watch TV. And maybe eat too much...

Plus I'm going to help at the party that SP is throwing tonight. I volunteered to check IDs. It's a position of power, after all. I have to change out of my pajamas though, which is no fun. I'm such a slob...

I wish I could be visiting Patrick this weekend. But I get to see him next weekend, so it's not that much longer to wait. After that, there's like a month before the next visit, which sucks.

I had fun checking IDs at the party last night. I spent 3 hours instead of the 1 hour I volunteered for, because I was enjoying being around people. So I'm not a total hermit after all!

Of course, I sat in my room all day today programming. I'm glad I get a break next weekend. I can't wait to see Patrick!
